September 2007

Now is your chance to vote! Each year preschool through kindergarten age children vote to select the winner of the Missouri Building Block Picture Book Award. The nominees are chosen because they are excellent read aloud books. Copies of each nominee are on display at your library. Every child that reads or listens to at least 5 of the 10 nominees may vote. Every child that votes is eligible to win a book to keep for their very own. Don’t forget that you can reserve the nominees online by using the online library catalog on our website: www.youranswerplace.org .

We will be having many special programs highlighting the Building Block nominees and also using them at many of our outreach visits. Every child that listens to at least 5 of the 10 nominees may vote. Check out my blogroll for the link to our Children’s Programs and to the Building Block Award site for more information.
