Here are more book reviews of recommended books for various ages. Hoping that all of you are finding great new reads from all of the St. Charles County readers. Kate McMullan A Fine Start: Meg’s Prairie Diary 5 star review
I liked this book because it is fun and cool. This book is about a little girl named Meg. One thing in the book, a tornado came. One day Meg found out Meg’s best friends dad died. One day Meg ran over to Aunt and Uncle. When she got there they thought the cat blew away in the tornado but the cat was just hiding and when she came inside they were all upside down.
Daisy Meadows Katie the Kitten Fairy 5 star review
The funniest part is when the monsters from Jack Frosts Castle fell from the tree and missed the kitten. My friends should read this because it is funny and there is no end to the animal searching. I like animals. I would like to meet Katie.

The scariest part was when Pikachu had too much electricity, he was sick, and he had red eyes. My friends should read this book because it was fun to read. I would like to meet the character Ash because he’s cool. It is my favorite book ever.
Beatrix Potter The Tale of Two Bad Mice 5 Star Review

Katie liked the book because the girl mouse had a funny name – “Hunca Munca”. Other kids should read this book aloud because it is a funny story. Katie’s favorite page was the picture of Jane and Hunca Munca. She also really liked the cute illustrations of all of the baby mice and their mouse family.

This book had great pictures and a big surprise at the end! It’s fun to read out loud because of the rhythm and rhymes. As soon as we finished the book the kids wanted it read again. We would definitely recommend this book to read aloud.
Jules Verne 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea 5 Star Review

This book was about a submarine captain. It was hard to tell if he was a good guy or a bad guy because he attacked other ships but he really cared for his crew. It was scary when the giant squid attacked the Nautilus. I was sad when Captain Nemo and his ship were sucked into the vortex. Captain Nemo turned out to be a hero.

In the Case of the Missing Locket, Bess lost her locket and said it was George’s fault. The two get into a BIG fight. Nancy tries to find the locket. I would REALLY recommend this book to all of my friends.
