We liked how the characters came to life in the books. We especially liked the pink pig and how he seemed so real to the children when they gathered for reading time. It was special when they realized they could see the book characters again when they went to the library.

We loved this book because it rhymes and has repetitive words that makes it easy to read, especially for my daughter who is trying to read all by herself. We also love Barbie and how simple and cute the story was. The illustrations were very nice and colorful.

I liked this book because it had a good story. I felt sorry for Chrysanthemum when the other kids made fun of her because her name was really long. It made me happy when her pregnant teacher named her baby Chrysanthemum. The pictures showed that Chrysanthemum was just as pretty as her name.

I liked the book because his mother came back. I like to read it to my mom. I think the bird is funny. Michael’s mom: This is a fun book that teaches the love of a mother and child. It’s also not a difficult read – very easy for my 4 year old to read on his own.

I loved Skippy Jon Jones because he talks in Spanish sometimes through the book. He has a great imagination. For instance, the time he went into his closet and imagined he was part of a gang called the Lost Chihuahuas. This book was quite funny and we enjoyed it very much.

In the story Ruby puts flys in a cake because she gets advice from a frog. The cake is not good but her friends say nice things to cheer her up. I’d like my friends to read this because it’s funny. I want to meet Ruby and jump rope with her.

The best funniest part of the the story was when a boy put a frog in a girls hair. My friends should read this book so she learns to find the best thing she is good at. I would like to meet Ellie.

I read “You’re All My Favorites”. The best part was when dad said I love you all the same. It teaches you a lesson that you’re parents love you the same. The second baby bear would be nice to meet.

I liked this book because it had a race and Fluffy won. My friends should read this book because Fluffy is a funny guinea pig. I also liked the party for celebrating 100 days at school. The pictures were neat to see throughout the book.
I liked when Max got out of his cage and the ways they tried to catch him with the help of “One Shot Lil”. The boys were surprised to find out who had really helped them. It was about “cool bugs”! I learned about the bugs as well as enjoyed the book.

I liked the book because it is about very small people. I like Sir Small because he is a brave tiny knight. He rides his trusty ant, fights the sea monster and saves the prince. The reason I think kids should read this book is that I think they will think it is funny, just like I thought it was funny.

The pictures were great. We love trash day and the book brought the trash truck to life. It was great seeing all the trash it eats. It is just like our trash! The reading flows so be careful not to go too fast.

This book was funny because the boy’s name was “Buzz”, so when the fly said “buzz”, they thought he was smart. He was surprised his hat flew off! The dad said flies are not pets and grabbed a flyswatter. The pictures of the fly’s face are really funny!
